There are two types of runs are formally: power walking or brisk walking and racewalking known or race walking. Both types require walking techniques. The difference, racewalking usually accompanied by a few rules to be followed. While brisk walking is relaxing or fun.
For example, racewalking has a rule that requires an athlete's feet should not leave the ground until the heel of the front foot has touched.
But there are types that do not require walking technique at all, you just live your foot only. You do kind of walk like this for the rest of your life, and whether it's for exercise, walking, or walking with your dog. All these activities will bring benefits to you.
Technique for running fast, whether it be power walking or racewalking, it's really just the same. Below are some tips on technique:
Footwork

   
1. Common mistake for beginners when trying to run fast is often lengthen stride (overstriding). It is not efficient even in fact can slow you down.
   
2. Rather than extend the measures in order to run faster, better concentration on the strong encouragement while your front foot landed closer to your body.
Foot Motion

   
1. Touch the ground with your heel when walking
   
2. Take a large step ahead of your feet through the center of your feet
   
3. Push with your toes
Hips

   
1. Rotate your hips back and forth while walking.
   
2. Rotate your waist. Walkers often looks funny because the rotation of the hips, but restrict the movement of the hips will reduce your speed.
Body

   
1. Keep your body upright. Leaning forward or back will slow you down.
Arm Movement

   
1. Keep your elbow angle at 90 degrees
   
2. Relax your hands
   
3. Swing your arms forward and since e back and watch in order to remain close to the body. Both of our hands should not cross the midline of our body to maintain the efficiency of movement.
   
4. To add speed, swing your arms faster.
Head, Neck, and Shoulders

   
1. Keep your shoulders and neck relaxed. Keep your head upright and eyes looking forward
